Psychological Testing
Psychological testing services are offered to children and adolescents in person (address below) to determine diagnosis and treatment plans for ADHD, Learning Disorders (reading, writing, or math), Autism, Social-Emotional Concerns, and other learning or behavioral differences. There are typically two, three-hour long testing sessions with your child, in addition to parent and teacher interviews, and questionnaires to complete the process. Reports and results are individualized and unique to each child’s needs and strengths. Each evaluation includes a consultation call to determine needs and concerns and a comprehensive feedback session to discuss results and treatment moving forward.

Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy clients meet on a weekly or biweekly basis (based on need) to work through the challenges that initially brought them to therapy. These challenges can include anxiety and worry, feeling down or depressed, somatic symptoms, feelings of inadequacy, or challenging behaviors. It is important for each individual to understand how these symptoms impact their relationships, school, and overall functioning. I allow for a safe and private environment for all clients, whether children, adolescents, or adult, to verbalize the overwhelming thoughts and emotions that have brought them to seek therapy.

Parent Counseling
All relationships in our lives can come with difficulties in understanding, communicating, and feeling seen and heard. Parenting, in particular, can bring out parts of us that we did not know still lived within us. I take an emotion-based approach to parent counseling and training in order to assist clients in being the best versions of themselves, both as individuals, and as parents. I can meet with you on a weekly, or an as-needed basis, to assist in the constantly changing and adaptive role of being a parent.

Family Psychotherapy
Family psychotherapy is an effective and powerful way to approach issues or challenges that often arise within a family unit. Feelings of being misunderstood, judged, or not validated can often occur, which can sometimes present as challenging behaviors. These issues are often symptoms of more complex underlying wounds and there are often ways that a family is conditioned and accustomed to communicating with each other. I understand the complexities that come with the uniqueness of each family unit and the individual relationships within the family as a whole. I establish an approach that best serves each unique family unit. Based on those the needs and challenges in place, I will meet with your family as a whole or meet with individuals within your family, on a weekly or biweekly basis.
