A trusted, compassionate team supporting children, teens, and their families.

Melony Cohen, PsyD

Clinical Psychologist & Founder

With a focus on early childhood and adolescent diagnosis and intervention, parent counseling and skills training, and family psychotherapy, I have always tailored my expertise to meet the unique needs of toddlers to teens. Utilizing my skills in psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational testing and therapy, I provide individualized treatment and support to children and their families.

I specialize in working with toddlers, children, and teens through a combination of psychological testing, therapy, and parent support. My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of early childhood and adolescent development, and I’m passionate about helping young people thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. My clinical training has spanned a wide range of settings, including private practice, schools, and outpatient clinics. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Reiss Davis Child Study Center, where I refined my skills in child and family therapy, developmental assessment, and school consultation.

With nearly a decade of experience, I conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, specializing in diagnosing learning differences, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. I also provide therapy for children, adolescents, and parents, drawing from psychodynamic, attachment-based, and developmental approaches tailored to each family's unique needs.

Alexa Winer, AMFT

Associate Clinician

I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children, believing they bring joy, love, and a unique perspective to the world. With the right support, tools, and space to express themselves, kids and adolescents have so much insight and creativity to share. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where they feel seen, heard, and motivated to grow.

My therapeutic approach is warm, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness techniques to support emotional expression, confidence, and resilience. I tailor sessions to each individual’s needs, meeting them where they are and empowering them to move forward with curiosity and self-compassion. I’m especially passionate about helping young people navigate self-esteem, identity, and life transitions.

I earned both a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.

We are committed to offering a supportive and personalized experience for every family we work with.
